Valentine's Day

We wanted to do something fun with the kids for Valentine's Day so we decided to go try out The Living Planet Aquarium. They loved it. Addison would put her hand up to the glass and as soon as a fish would swim by she would pull her hand away. They also had a little area where you could touch the sting rays. Addison was ready to dive right in. Gavin stuck his hand in the water but didn't touch anything. He did eventually touch a starfish which he kept doing until the starfish tried to bury itself in the sand (probably to get away).

Gavin and I made heart cookies for our Valentine's Party. He loves to cook, although sometimes he gets a little too excited and only gets half of the ingredients in the bowl. He was extra careful cutting out the hearts making sure that he didn't cut into any of the hearts that he had already made.

We had olives in our dinner the other day. When we were done eating Gavin wanted to eat the extra olives. This is what I saw when I turned around from cleaning up dinner. I guess the olives weren't enough--he had to drink the juice too!
