End of Summer

I have been such a slacker at blogging. It usually falls last on my long list of things to do. Here are a few of the things we did during the last few weeks of summer.
We went to the Salt Lake County Fair. We mostly went for the demolition derby but we had time to go on a few rides. Gavin wanted to do all of the big kid rides and he loved them.
This was Addison's first derby and she had a great time. She clapped and pointed at all of the cars. Gavin of course loved it too. His favorite was the truck derby.

They also had a little petting zoo for the kids. Addison loves animals.
We spent a day at the gardens at Thanksgiving Point.

The kids especially loved the water. Addison had no fear, even though there were millions of bigger kids running all around her.
We went swimming one last time at my grandma's pool.

We tried the muscleman suit on Addison because she thinks she is a fish and doesn't need anyone to help her in the water. It worked pretty well.

We went on a spur of the moment camping trip. Gavin had to compete with Addison for their cousin Robbie's attention. I think Gavin might be in trouble soon because Addison is starting to like playing girl things with Robbie.

We also spent a day at the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Addison was traumatized by a cow that we got to close to and it started trying to eat her stroller.

At the end of our visit we got to go on a wagon ride that was pulled by horses.

It sure has been a fun summer!
