Addison's Big Girl Bed

At the beginning of February Addison kept climbing out of her crib so we decided to get her a big girl bed. She was so excited! Gavin had a great time helping Daddy put the bed together. We decided to give Gavin the new mattress and Addison his old one so they could both get something new. They had a great time playing on the mattresses before we got the bed put together. Addison loves her bed! In the morning when she wakes up, she just sits in her bed. Sometimes trying to get her out of her bed is like pulling teeth! On the first night I had to show Addison how Gavin sleeps under the covers because she just wanted to sleep on top. After that she got right into bed. She sat there for awhile before getting out of her bed, closing her door, getting back in bed, and going to sleep. That has been her routine ever since. She is such a big girl! Gavin also loved his new mattress. He woke up the next morning and said, "Either my new mattress or the cover on it is so comfortable!"
