Thursday was my 2nd preschool graduation. This year I had a lot more kids than last year and we had such a good turnout of support for the kids. I was very pleased. I am so proud of Gavin--he participated in all of the songs, counting, and letters. He has come such a long way. Last year he just sat there and wouldn't do anything so I was glad he participated this year. He is such a smart boy and he loves to learn. There is no greater joy as a mom and as a preschool teacher when we are playing a game from one of the literacy take home bags and he says, "thank you so much for making this, it is so much fun, I love it!" I have been his teacher for the past two years and although it has been challenging I am so grateful for the opportunity I've had to help him learn, to watch him grow, and to see him interacting with his friends. He is now officially a preschool graduate! I know he is ready for kindergarten and he will have a great experience. On the other hand, I am not sure if I am ready for him to go to kindergarten. I think I might have a harder time than he will! (I am such a baby, I am sitting here crying while I am writing this! The things being a mother does to us.)

I cannot believe he is that OLD!!! I bet you are a fantastic teacher! I love preschool kids! :)
Glad to hear graduation went well. If you think sending him to Kindergarten is hard, wait until 1st grade, that was a harder milestome for me.
Loved your comments and am glad you care enough to cry. You are doing a wonderful job, both as a mother and a teacher. Of course, I am biased, but I could see how well the kids do under your direction. Great job!
